In 1960, Wayne built our first automated dairy facility. He loved working with dairy cattle and a registered Holstein herd was initiated. This involved the entire family with many years of 4-H and black & white shows. He was also one of the first to use center pivot irrigation in the area.

Wayne enjoyed being outdoors whether it being golfing, hunting or fishing. Watching football and baseball were favorite pastimes. Grandpa’s best times were spent working with his children and grandchildren on the farm.
