Funeral services for Wanda Larson age 84 of Lincoln, Ne formerly of Ewing were at 10:30 am, Saturday, February 25, 2006 at the United Methodist-Presbyterian Church U.S.A. with pastor Costa de Oliveira officiating. Music was provided by Alexa Steiner, soloist and Doris Ann Bollwitt, organist. Burial was in the Ewing City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dan Steiner, Bob Barr, Kevin Beem, Mike Larson, Steven Sparling, Erik Larson, Deon Tinant, and Ken Volle. She passed away Monday February, 20, 2006 at a Lincoln Hospital. Wanda Anise Larson was born June 6, 1921 in rural Brown county to James and Leora (Miles) Henderson. She graduated from Ewing Public school with the class of 1939. She married Don Larson on October 15, 1939 at Ewing, Ne and the couple made their home a farm southeast of Ewing until moving to Lincoln in 1981. Don passed away in June of 1986 in Lincoln. Wanda was a member of the Ewing Methodist Church. She loved to sew, do needlework, reading and traveling. Wanda loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. Survivors include two sons: Larry and Shirley Larson of Glen Burnie, Maryland, Lyle and Sharon Larson of Valentine, and a daughter Linda and Stan Sparling of Lincoln. 8 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and an infant granddaughter Cynthia Larson.
