Vivian Joyce Hemenway Funeral services for Vivian Joyce Hemenway age 80 of Neligh formally of Clearwater were on Monday, July 13, 2009 at 10:30 am at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater with Pastor Carroll Plisek, Officiating. Music was provided by Rita Kester, Organist and Bob Kester, Soloist. Pallbearers were Randy Rowe, Bradley Rowe, Tim Kester, Dick Kester, Mike Rodgers, and Kevin Rodgers. Burial was in the Clearwater Cemetery. Visitation was from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2009. at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater.
Vivian passed away on Monday, July 8, 2009 at Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh. Snider Memorial Funeral Home of Clearwater is handling the arrangements.
Vivian Joyce Froding Hemenway was born December 25, 1928 on her Grandparents farm south of Clearwater. Her grandparents were John and Elsie Crum and her parents were Art and Ethel Froding. Vivian grew up in Norfolk, Nebraska. She was a Presbyterian during her school days and taught Sunday School all four years of High School and was baptized while a young girl. Vivian graduated with the Norfolk Senior High Class of 1947. Vivian has three boys, Rick, Randy, and Bradley Rowe. Vivian was very active in attending her boys sporting activities and 4-H. Vivian was married to Douglas Hemenway, who died in 1976 in Denver, Colorado. Vivian was active being Avon Lady for the area for 30 years. She was a member of the Clearwater Methodist Women�s group, American Legion Auxiliary, the afternoon birthday club, neighborhood bingo Birthday, LBS Club, and YML club.
She is survived by her three boys, Grandchildren: Ben, Jarrod, Jan, Helenka, Amanda, and Stephanie. A brother; Art "Fedder" Froding of Woodburn, Oregon and a sister; Maxine White of Lincoln, Nebraska. A Special Friend, Bob Rodgers and many friends whom she adored.
