Graveside Services for Sharron Mickelson, age 71 of Neligh, NE will be Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11:00 am at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Neligh, NE with Pastor Janet Davis, Officiating. Sharron passed away December 28, 2015 at Neligh, NE.
Sharron Ann Michelson was born on May 6, 1944 on a farm Southwest of Neligh, to Harold and Margaret Peterson. She attended rural grade school at Standard School District #112. The family moved and she attended Standard School District #70. The family relocated to a farm South of Neligh on Old Highway 14, North of the airport. She graduated with the class of 1962 from Neligh High School.
She is survived by son: Kevin Lee (Allen) McDaniel, four granddaughters: Cheyenne McDaniel, Martika Quigley, Malina Quigley, and Lea Quigley; three great grandchildren, Talia Fuller, Vayda Quigley, Reagen Stowell. Three brothers: Allen (Gisela) Peterson of Idaho, Terry (Donna) Peterson of Neligh and Dean Peterson of Neligh. Two sisters: Ellen Heermann of Neligh and Jeanette (Loren) Hansen of Plainview. Sister-in-laws Louise (Ron) Peterson of California, RaeJeane (Lee) Peterson of Neligh, Ida (Lynn) Peterson, Ellen (Barry) Peterson Doescher of Orchard, along with many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, 5 brothers, Ronald, Darryl, Lee, Lynn and Barr, and a sister-in-law Jeanette (Darryl) Peterson.
