Funeral Services for Ruby J. Kruntorad age 96 formally of Ewing, Ne will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater, NE. Visitation will be an hour before service. Burial will be in Ewing City Cemetery in Ewing, Ne. Ruby passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021at Arbor Care Center in Neligh, Ne. Ruby Josephine Kruntorad was born on June 9, 1925 to Rose and James Havel in Creston, NE. She grew up in Stanton, NE. Ruby was united in marriage on June 3, 1947 to Lyle Kruntorad. To this union, three children were born; Duane, Larry, and La Vonne. Ruby dedicated her life of service as a teacher, teacher aide, and librarian for numerous years. Her most cherished endeavor was her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, gardening, flowers, playing cards and bingo.
Proceeded in death by husband, Lyle and son, Duane; daughter and son-in-law, La Vonne and Jack Barlow, and baby.
She is survived by Son, Larry Kruntorad of Ewing, NE; daughter-in-law Dixie Kruntorad of Wagner SD; special friend, Bill Hubert of Neligh, NE. Seven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
