Funeral Service for Rosella Voborny age 88 of Neligh, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Neligh, with Father John Norman, Officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Neligh, Nebraska. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Neligh with 7:00 p.m. wake service. Rosella passed away on November 24, 2024 at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk, Nebraska. Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.  Rosella Voborny was born on August 17, 1936 to David and Grace (Arehart) Brown at her parents home in Oakdale, Nebraska. She attended and graduated from Oakdale High School. On August 28, 1957, she was united in marriage to Bernard C. Voborny at St. Francis Catholic Church in Neligh, Nebraska. They raised their 6 children: Mark, Lois, Lucy, Leon, Irene, and Todd. They lived and farmed South of Tilden until 1963. They moved and continued to farm North of Neligh. She was a wife, mother, homemaker; she also cooked at Imperial, and dietary aide at the Nursing Home and Willows. She enjoyed gardening and playing cards at the Senior Center. Watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and the birds. Rosella was an avid Huskers fan. She was a member at St. Francis Catholic Church in Neligh. 

 Survived by her children: Mark Voborny of Neligh, NE; Lois (Jim) Bright of Royal, NE; Lucy (Ron) Pyle of Neligh, NE; Todd (Patricia) Voborny of Stanton, NE, and daughter-in-law, Penny Voborny of Bruel, NE. 15 grandchildren. Twin sister Ardella (John) Overton of Fremont, NE and brother Clifford Brown of Eureka Springs, AK. 

 Preceded in death by her parents, David and Grace. Sister, Martha Nelson; and brothers, Dean Brown and Lyman Brown. Daughter, Irene Voborny and son, Leon Voborny. Grandsons, Luke Voborny, Tim Lundquist, and Jessie Philson.
