Roberta "Bobbie" Lucille Patras

Funeral services for  Roberta “Bobbie” Patras age 98 of Clearwater, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday March 21, 2024 at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater, Nebraska with Pastor Bruce Phillips, Officiating.  Burial will be in Clearwater Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater, Nebraska.  Bobbie passed away on March 17, 2024 at Arbor Care Center in Neligh, Nebraska surrounded by all her kids.  Snider Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.  Condolences may be directed to the family at www.snidermemorial.com 

     Roberta Lucille Patras was born on November 4, 1925 to Elmer and Helen (Havenstrite) Anderson at Oxnard, California.  She grew up in Bakersfield, California.  She graduated from high school in Los Angeles in 1943, she attended college for two years atLACC and received her Arts Degree, and also attended two years college at the Arts Center.  On February 13, 1949, she was united in marriage to Walter Patras in Los Angeles, California. Walt was in the United States Marine Corp.  They lived in California and South Carolina until moving back to his home town of Clearwater, Nebraska in 1964 to raise their five children.  Bobbi worked at an ad Agency in Los Angeles, but most of all she was a stay at home mom.  Always willing to help in the community.  She was a member of Clearwater Legion Auxiliary for 60 years, Clearwater Methodist Church and recently switched to Neligh Faith Community Church.  She enjoyed reading, her flowers, traveling, and doing crafts.  Bobbie really enjoyed spending her time with family and their camping and fishing trips to Merritt. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.  

      Survived by her children:  Kathleen and husband, Steve Patras of Clearwater, NE; Donald and wife, Nancy Patras of Columbus, NE; Linda and husband, Steve Hankla of Clearwater, NE; Walter and wife, Rosie Patras of Tilden, NE; and Richard and wife, Jeannie Patras of Mason City, IA.  17 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.

     Preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister and brother in infancy.
