Funeral Services for Nolma W. Knapp, age 99 of Neligh, NE were 10:30 am, Monday, August 13, 2012 at United Methodist Church in Neligh with Pastor Carroll Plisek, Officiating. Music was provided by Marie Krohn, Pianist. Burial were in Clearwater Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kevin Elsberry, David Knapp, Laura Knapp, Joel Knapp, Alan Knapp, Dan Knapp, Mike Knapp, and Trevin Knapp. Visitation was from 6 to 8 pm, Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Neligh. Nolma passed away on August 9, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Neligh, NE. Nolma W. Knapp was born on August 2, 1913 to William and Katharine (Peters) Dohse in Clearwater, Nebraska. On January 21, 1929 she was united in marriage to Robert Knapp. She was a homemaker and mother. She loved gardening, sewing, crocheting, and cooking for her family. She was a member of United Methodist Women and Garden Club in Neligh.

She is survived by Wayne Knapp of Clearwater, NE, Keith and wife Sue Knapp of Crossville, TN, Terry and wife Nancy Knapp of Lincoln, NE, Bob and wife, Betty Knapp of Omaha, NE, Cindy and husband Dean McGee of College Station, TX, and daughter-in-law Donna Knapp and Nellie Knapp of Clearwater, NE., sixteen Grandchildren, thirty-five Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband on October 15, 1991, her parents, a son, James Knapp, and a daughter, Eloise Elsberry and husband Arlo. Six sisters; Pearl Gapinski, Evelyn Sooy, Wilda "Tootie" Black, Sibylla Messner, Opal Proctor, Fern Marcene Dohse; and one Brother, Lyle Dohse.
