Mildred M. Knapp Clearwater--- Funeral services for Mildred M. Knapp age 93 of Clearwater, will be at 10:30 am Friday, April 6, 2007 at the Church of Christ in Ewing with Pastor Robert Moore officiating. Burial will in the Clearwater Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater. Mildred passed away Monday, April 2, 2007 at Golden Living Center in Neligh. Mildred Marie Knapp was born April 2, 1914 at Royal, Ne the daughter of John and Selma (Holm) Erickson. She grew up in the Royal area and attended the Royal school and graduated from Royal High School with the class of 1932. On June 3, 1935 she married Harry Knapp at the Church of Christ in Neligh by Pastor Guy B. Dunning. The couple made their home in Clearwater. Mildred was baptized in 1955 at the Clearwater Church of Christ. Harry passed away February 26, 1973. Mildred lived in Clearwater until recently residing at the Golden Living Center in Neligh. Mildred was a member of Dorcas- Birthday Club, and Extension Club. She enjoyed embroidery work, and gardening. Survivors include Navonne Haake of Ainsworth, Ne, Carol Haake of Clearwater, Gaylene and her husband Lyle Bartak of North Platte, Ne, and Kirk Knapp of Clearwater; 8 grandchildren: Dawna Hemenway, Darin Haake, Dani Jo Rux, Crystal Allen, Craig Haake, Caren Fernau, Brooke Schrack, Stacia Thomas; 19 Great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband , son-in-law Lyle Haake, 2 sisters: Freda Pederson, Hazel Makemsen, 2 brothers: Carl and Gus Erickson.
