Funeral Services for Margaret “Peggy” Temme, age 81 of Petersburg, Nebraska will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Petersburg, with Father Mark Tomaslewicz, Officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Petersburg. Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be St. John Cemetery. Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Elgin, NE is handling the arrangements. Peggy passed away August 15, 2018 at Mid-Nebraska Lutheran Home in Newman Grove, Nebraska. Margaret “Peggy” Marilyn Temme was born on July 2, 1937 to Theodore “Dick” and Rose (Krogman) Temme at Petersburg, Nebraska. She attended school at St. John’s School in Petersburg. She worked at Wirges Processing, Knotty Pine, Petersburg Lockers, and Boone Central Middle School. She lived on the farm for 58 years. She bought a house in Petersburg in 1982 after her parents passed away. 1998 she was diagnosed with Parkinson Disease. She enjoyed her family, friends, Husker Football, county music, stock car racing, and a good card game. She was a member of St. John’s Baptist Catholic Church.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Betty Temme of Petersburg, NE, and brother-in-law, Bernard Wirges of Petersburg, NE. Nieces and Nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents; 2 infant brothers; and sister, Rose Mary (Bernard) Wirges. Brother, Jerome Temme and Donald Temme. Sister-in-law Wanda (Don) Temme. Nephew’s Brian Wirges and Randy Wirges. Great niece, April Bergman and great nephew, Brad Beckman. Great great niece, Olivia Grace Temme.
