Funeral Services for Lottie Elsberry, age 97 of Neligh, NE were 2:00 pm, Friday, July 6, 2012 at Brunswick Community Church with Rev. Eldon Earl Elsberry, Rev. John Kringle, and Rev Marlin Rasmussen, Officiating. Music was provided by Ardith Carr and Lotties family. Burial was in Brunswick Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kenny Dockweiler, Steve Pellatz, Wayne Pellatz, Lynn Pellatz, Myron Pellatz, and Tim Pellatz. Honorary Pallbearers were Rev. Marlin Rasmussen, Ivan Jensen, Kevin Caskey, Orlan Pellatz, and Gene Scarborough. Visitation was from 5 - 7 pm, Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Neligh. Lottie passed away on July 2, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Neligh, NE. Lottie was born September 17, 1914 at Millerboro, Ne, to Levi and Dora (Brokaw) Jensen. She attended Royal Public School, graduating in 1933. Following graduation she worked as telephone operator at Royal, Ne. Lottie married Earl Raymond Elsberry on March 27, 1937 at her parents' home in Clearwater, Ne. Earl and Lottie spent their spring and summer in Montana working on a ranch. The following year they began farming near Plainview, Ne. Janette was born June 19, 1938. In 1940 the family moved east of Royal where they resided until 2001 at which time they moved to the Willows Assisted Living in Neligh, Ne. While at Royal on March 20, 1941 Eldon was born about two years later. Richard arrived on June 24, 1943. Lottie is survived by her daughter, Janette and her husband Warren Pellatz of Brunswick, Ne. Two sons, Eldon and his wife, Geneva Elsberry of Ravenna, and Richard and his wife, Jenny Elsberry of Sioux Falls, SD. A daughter-in-law, Deanna Elsberry of Brunswick, Ne. A sister, Bernice Dixon of Grand Island. 11 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 6 ½ great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Two brothers and two sisters, and one great grandchild.
