Funeral Services for Lillian Mortensen age 13 of Neligh, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Antelope County Ag Society Event Center in Neligh, Nebraska. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Neligh, Nebraska. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2024 at Antelope County Ag Society Event Center in Neligh, Nebraska. Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Lilly passed away on October 31, 2024 at UNMC in Omaha, Nebraska.      Lillian Jo Mortensen was born on June 15, 2011 in Neligh, Nebraska to Adam and Kendra (Meyer) Mortensen. She was baptized on August 14, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church in Neligh. Lilly attended Neligh-Oakdale School in Neligh. She loved her cats, spending time with her friends and her cousins, singing and playing in the band. Lilly enjoyed hunting and romping and roaring the ranger in the pasture as fast as she could go. Lilly was involved with Girl Scouts, FCCLA, FFA, 4-H, and church youth group. She was also an avid reader which got her involved in the Jr. Library Board. She was very unique, beautiful, caring, and a big hearted girl with a touch of sass. 

     Lilly is survived by her parents, Adam and Kendra Mortensen; brother Cain and sister Olivia all of Neligh, NE. Grandparents; Lee and Rhonda Meyer of Neligh, NE and Mike and Danielle Mortensen of Neligh, NE. So many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

     Preceded in death by her great grandparents, and uncle Jason Mortensen
