Funeral Service for Laurie Werner age 61 of Oakdale, NE will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2025 at Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Neligh, Nebraska. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, January 24, 2025 before the service from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Neligh. Laurie passed away on January 18, 2025 at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk, Nebraska. Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.       Laurie Ann Werner was born on October 4, 1963 to Sherry (Clary) and Nicholas Zahurones in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She received her LPN from Southeast Community College in 2006. On May 26, 2006, she was united in marriage to Ralph Werner in Beatrice, Nebraska. Laurie enjoyed her cats, motorcycles, music, and Golden Girls.

      She was survived by her husband, Ralph Werner of Oakdale, NE. Daughter, Molly Zahurones and husband Ken Prchal of Omaha, NE. Sons, Rick Bergmann of Bellevue, Nebraska and Daniel Zahurones of Omaha, NE. Grandchildren: Giavonna Prchal, Giselle Prchal, Brett Zahurones, Riley Zahurones, Leilani Zahurones. Sisters: Maggie (Lyn) Byers of Council Bluffs, IA; Nancy (Kenny) Stewart of Pontiac, MO; and Chadd (Brandi) Zahurones of Rapid City, SD. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

      Proceed in death by her mother, Sherry; uncle Rick; grandparents, Roy and Ida Clary. Sister-in-law Dakota and Uncle Tom.
