Funeral Services for Jolene A. Taylor age 77 of Neligh, NE were 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 13, 2014 at St. Francis Catholic Church with Father John Broheimer, Officiating. Music was provided by Nancy Evans, Organist and Roxanne McNally, soloist. Burial was in St. Ludger Catholic Cemetery in Creighton, NE. Pallbearers were Nieces and Nephews. There was no Visitation. Jolene passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Neligh, Ne. Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Jolene A. Taylor was born on September 27, 1937 to Lloyd and Helen (Reef) Pick at Royal, Ne. She attended Royal High School and graduated with the Class of 1956. On October 14, 1977 she was united in marriage to Boyd Taylor in Tilden. Jolene was a dietitian at the Tilden Nursing Center and she worked at the courthouse with Boyd. She enjoyed embroidering, outdoors, and braiding hangers. She is survived by her nieces and nephews. Brothers and sisters: Bob and Louise Pick of Ogallala, Ne, Nadine and Lyle Dredge of Neligh, Ne, RoDean and Bev Rice of Silvis, Il, Michael and Cindy Rice of Neligh, Ne. Proceeded in death by her parents, husband, Boyd, step-father: Hank Rice. Brothers: Richard, Jim, and Patrick. Sister: LaVonne. Nephew, Rickie Lee Pick, niece, Cassandra Rice, Brooklynn Wells.
