Memorial Service for Jimmie L Hauf, age 83 of Collinsville, TX will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Neligh, NE with John Petersen, Officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Neligh, NE. Jimmie passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013 in Sioux City, IA. Jimmie Hauf was born on January 7, 1930 in Colome, SD. Jimmie owned his mechanic shop for many years with his brother Richard in Aurora NE and retired as a mechanic in Texas. He was married to Donna Mae Ganskow for 47 1/2 years who preceded him in death in 1999. His second wife Eudene Wiley passed away in 2012. He was a Korean War Veteran. He led a very active lifestyle doing what he enjoyed including playing his guitar and singing, yodeling and especially spending time with friends and family. Survived by children Ronald, Janet, Thomas Hauf, Connie Burleigh and husband Chris of Nebraska, Alan Hauf and wife Naomi of Texas. 2 Step-children, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Donations may be made to ARC in lieu of flowers.
