Ewing � Funeral Services for Jerome V. Tuttle, age 72 of rural Clearwater, will be at 10:30 am Saturday, October 13, 2007 at United Methodist-Presbyterian in Ewing. Burial will be at Ewing Cemetery in Ewing with Military Rites by Sanders American Post #214. Visitation will be 4 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2007 at Snider Memorial Funeral Home of Clearwater. Jerome passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh. Jerome was born November 21, 1934 at Ewing, Nebraska to Vearl and Elizabeth (Urban) Tuttle. He was baptized in the Presbyterian Church and graduated from Ewing High School in 1952. He served in the United States Army from September 18, 1953 to September 16, 1955 as Guided Missile Launching Specialist. He was united into marriage on March 27, 1959 to Carolyn Young. He farmed for several years for himself and Hobbs Feedlot. He also worked for Sargent Irrigation in Neligh for numerous years as a machinist. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the American Legion. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. We all enjoyed and will miss his expected teasing and practical jokes. He will be especially missed by his buddy and favorite friend �Zeb� (his dog). He is survived by his wife, Carolyn of Ewing, NE; his children, Nadine Hobbs and husband Tim also of Ewing, NE; Wesley Tuttle and wife Ginger of Plattsmouth, NE; Valerie Hobbs of Papillion, NE. He has 3 grandchildren; Dustin, Amber, and Jacob Hobbs, and 3 step-grandchildren Kari, Bobbi Sue, and Garrick McCollum. Siblings, Rollin and his wife Phyllis Tuttle of Norfolk, NE; Linda Hatfield of Ashland NE, and Sherry and her husband John Iverson of Jackson, MI; several nieces and nephews and of course his buddy �Zeb�. He is proceded in death by his parents.
