Funeral Services for Jerome Thiele, age 50 of Jefferson City, MO were at Monday, January 5, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa�s Catholic Church in Clearwater with Father James Kramper, Officiating. Music was provided by Celine Filsinger. Pallbearers were Jake Thiele, Nick Thiele, David Knapp, Curt Thiele, Jeff Thiele, Luke Thiele, Kevin Patras, Aaron Hemenway, John Thiele, Evan Thiele, Ryan Thiele, Joey Thiele. Honorary Pallbearers were Bill Thiele, Jerry Schmitz, Dean Thiele, Wayne Thiele, Jon Buck and His God Children Tina Thiele-Blecher and Ann Patras. Burial was in St. Theresa's Cemetery in Clearwater. Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church with a wake service at 7:30 p.m.
Jerome passed away on December 30, 2008 at his home.
Jerome Francis Thiele was born on April 22, 1958 in Neligh NE to John and Elizabeth Schindler Thiele. He went to school at Clearwater High School graduated in 1976. He then went onto College at Wayne State College Graduating with Business Degree and Computer Programming. He was united in marriage on July 17, 1998, in Jefferson City to Toni Jene Hinman. Jerome worked for the State of Missouri as a computer programmer. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Jerome was active with Boy Scouts with his son Matthew and an honorary life-time member of the Jaycees. He enjoyed going home to Nebraska to the family farm. He greatly loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Toni a son, Matthew, and two step children, Jesse and Alexandria of Jefferson City, Mo. His parents, John and Elizabeth Thiele of Clearwater, NE. Three sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Bob Knapp, of Omaha, NE; Rosemary and Walt Patras of Tilden, NE; Patricia and Terry Hemenway of Orchard, NE; five brothers and sisters-in-law Maurice and Teresa Thiele of Omaha, NE; Fred and Deb Thiele of Clearwater, NE; Chuck and Barb Thiele of Lincoln; Ray and Julia Thiele of Omaha, NE; Rick and Kathy Thiele of Collierville, TN; one sister-in-law, Tammy Wendte of Sioux City, IA; Gary Wendte of South Sioux City, NE and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; and a nephew, Alex Thiele.
Memorials are suggested to Jerome Thiele's family to be used for the children's educational fund; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
