Funeral Service Jacob Robert Rudolf age 16 of Ewing was on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 10:30 am at the Ewing Public High School Gym with Pastor Costa de Oliveira, Pastor Wayne Smith, and Father James Kramper, officiating. Visitation was Thursday, June 11, 2009 from 4-8 at the United Methodist-Presbyterian Church in Ewing, with a 7 pm Prayer Service. Burial was at 3:00 pm in Chapman City Cemetery in Chapman, Ne.

Jacob Robert Rudolf was born December 18, 1992 to Terry Rudolf and Connee Husmann at Central City, Nebraska. He was baptized into the United Methodist Church in Chapman, Nebraska. He attended grade school in Aurora, NE and Chapman then was enrolled in the Ewing School system in Junior High and High School. When Jake was young he loved to ride in the tractor with his dad. Terry said he always had him in his back pocket whenever he went farming. Jake also loved riding horses, hunting, fishing, and basketball. Some of his favorite times were spent with his dog Lily. They were inseparable. Jake would rather work on the farm than do anything else. Wednesday night calls to his mom were spent talking about the weeks work of spraying weeds or fixing fence. He told her at least that's what I am telling dad I'm doing. If there was a choice to go out or stay home and work Jake almost always chose work, however; recently girls and buddies were occupying more of his time. He loved spending time with family and friends. When the family came out to the house, Jake played with kids instead of staying inside with the adults. He loved to text his friends on the cell phone and passed on almost every joke he received. Jake always thought that he had to take care of his Dad. He was very giving person. Often people remarked to Terry how polite and well mannered he was and he always had a smile, no matter what was happening, Jake smiled. He would love knowing that many people will benefit from the donations of himself so that others may live a happy life as he did.

Jake is survived by; his Dad Terry Rudolf of Ewing, NE, his mother Connee Husmann of Chapman, NE, a sister Natasha Rudolf of Omaha, NE, and brother William Rudolf and his wife Jennifer of Neligh, NE and their kids Mackenzie, Austin, and Ashlyn. Grandmother, Evelyn Rudolf of Chapman and Grandparents Bob and Norma Husmann of Chapman, NE. Many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Seger Funeral Home in Atkinson is in charge of Arrangements.
