Funeral Services for Dorothy M. Willers age 70 of Neligh, NE were 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at United Methodist Church in Neligh, Ne with Pastor Fay Hubbard, Officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne, NE. Pallbearers were Doug Willers, Nathan Willers, James Christensen, Jerome Baugher, Matthew Cady, Jake Kress, and Randy Jacobs. Visitation was 4:00pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, April 21, 2014 at Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Neligh. Dorothy passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014 at Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh, Ne. Dorothy May Willers was born to Preston and Cora (Pearl) Thompson on January 13, 1944 at Calistoga, CA. Attended school at Williams High School in CA. On March 17, 1961 she was united in marriage to Ronald Willers Sr. at Williams, CA. They moved to Nebraska in 1982. Dorothy went to work at the Neligh Nursing Home. She received her LPN in 1991; in July of 2013 she retired from the Golden Living Center in Neligh after 32 years. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, camping, bowling, genealogy and playing cards with the neighbor ladies. She really enjoyed spending time with family and her friends.

She is survived by her husband; her children: Catherine (Galen) Niehues of Hemmingford, NE, Ronald (Shellie) Willers of Norfolk, NE, and Penny (William) Kiehl of Tilden, NE. Grandchildren: Deborah (Randy) Jacobs, Douglas Ingalsbe, Danielle (Jacob) Kress, Kari (Jerome) Baugher, Patricia (James) Christensen, Jennifer (Matthew) Cady, Amy Willers, Nathan Willers, Bailey Kiehl, Maleah Kiehl and 8 great grandchildren. Brothers: Lee (Carolyn) Thompson of Portland, OR and Jesse (Sandra) Lynch of William, CA. Sister: Irene (B0b) Jimmerson of Portland, OR. Preceded in death by parents, sister, Helen Lee, and several great aunts and uncles.
