Donna Marie Carnes

Graveside service for Donna Carnes, age 75 of Elgin, NE will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2020 at Oakdale Cemetery. Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Donna Marie Carnes was born on January 17, 1945 to Francis and Wilma (Taylor) Case at Decatur, NE. On March 24, 1969 she was united in marriage to Robert Carnes at Miami, OK. They celebrated 50 years together. They farmed at Ft. Calhoun and then move to Carroll to farm until moving to their acreage where they lived now. Donna enjoyed doing art and crafts.
Survived by her children: Alice (Jeff) Sweazy of Bloomfield, NE; Robert (Nicole) Carnes of Elgin, NE; Billy Carnes of Elgin, NE. 8 Grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Sister, Laura Smail of Blair, NE; brothers Lawrence (Sharon) Case of Herman, NE, Lyle (Jeanne) Case of Independence, MO, and Bob Case of Independence, MO
Preceded in death by her parents and husband and sister, Marian McKinnis.
