Dolores Hilda Snider

Funeral Service for Dolores H. Snider age 94 of Clearwater, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Clearwater with Pastor Daniel Feusse, officiating.  Burial will be Clearwater Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater, Nebraska.  Dolores passed away on May 22, 2024 at Arbor Care Center in Neligh, Nebraska.  Condolences may be directed to the family at www.snidermemorial.com

     Dolores Hilda Snider was born on March 2, 1930 to Hugo and Hulda (Setzkorn) Retzlaff at Pierce, Nebraska.  She attended Pierce High School.  On June 14, 1948 she married Earl J. Snider in Norfolk, Nebraska.  She worked at JCPenneys for 25 years and she worked at Citizen State Bank in Clearwater.  Dolores enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her family and going to grandkids games.  In her younger years, she and Earl enjoyed bowling together and going camping.  She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Clearwater and involved with ladies aide.  

     She is survived by her children:  Kathy and Ron Herley of Seward, NE; Diana and Steve Trosper of Columbus, NE; Deb and Fred Thiele of Clearwater, NE; and Ginnie Snider of Omaha, NE.  15 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

     Preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Steve; grandson Christopher; and granddaughter Stephanie.  Siblings:  Lorna Bauer, Arlene Krei, Ruth Laubsch, Elaine Rasmussen, and Margaret Rasmussen.
