Cletus Thramer

Funeral Services for Cletus "Clet" Thramer, age 79 of Ewing, Nebraska were at 10:30 am Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at St. Peter's Catholic Church of Ewing, with Father James Kramper, Officiating. Music was provided by Bob and Rita Kester. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Pallbearers were Austin Kaczor, Troy Thramer, Luke Thramer, Damian Summers, Bryce Summers, Brock Kaczor, and Brett Kaczor. Honorary Pallbearers were Candice Hoke, Tonya Barlow, Hayley Thramer, Tori Thramer, Tiana Thramer, Molly Thramer, Hannah Thramer, Abby Thramer, Sierra Summers, Miranda Summers, Myiah Thramer, Allie Thramer, Blake Hoke, Mason Hoke, Preston Hoke, and Brekkan Summers. Visitation was 5 to 7:30 pm Monday, February 24, 2014, with a 7:30 pm Rosary at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Ewing. Cletus passed away Saturday, February 22 at Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh, NE. Arrangements are being conducted by Snider Memorial Funeral Home of Clearwater. Cletus Thramer was born on August 19, 1934 in Clearwater, Nebraska to Joseph and Elizabeth (Rotherham) Thramer. He attended school in Clearwater and graduated with the Class of 1952. On November 15, 1955 he was united in marriage to Yvonne Mlnarik at St. John's Catholic Church. They were married for 58 years. Clet was an implement dealer and farmer for most of his life. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, going to Arizona for the winters, visiting with everyone and coffee with his buddies. Spending time with his family especially with his grand kids. He was involved with many things and members of the Summerland Board, Ewing School Board, Town Board, Bauer Memorial, St. Peter's Choir, and EME. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne (Mlnarik) and his children and his grandchildren: Becky and husband, Randy Kaczor and Candice and Husband Aaron Hoke, Tonya and husband Larry Barlow, and Austin. Greg and wife, Carm Thramer, and Hayley, Troy, Tori, Tiana. Connie and husband, Terry Kaczor and Brock , Brett. Tim and wife, Cindy Thramer and Molly, Hannah, Abby. Tammy and husband, Mike Summers and Sierra, Damian, Bryce, Miranda. Larry and wife, Heidi Thramer and Myiah, Luke, Allie. Great grandchildren: Blake, Mason, Preston Hoke and Brekkan Summers. Sisters, Alice Funk and Bernadine and Bob Walnofer. Sister-in-laws, Joan Thramer, Joyce Thramer, Joan Stearns, and Claire and Vern Friese. Brother-in-laws, John and Barb Mlnarik, Dick and Mary Mlnarik, Tom and Sue Mlnarik. Preceded in death by parents. Brothers, Mark and Alex. Sister, Loretta and Ludwig Tagel.
