Clarine passed away May 11, 2019 at Neligh Care and Rehabilitation in Neligh. Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Clarine Faye Furstenau was born on February 15, 1932 to Arthur and Lula (Weyhrich) Huwaldt at her grandparents home in Norfolk, Ne. She attended country school District 35 and graduated from Neligh High School with the class of 1949. On February 19, 1950, she was united in marriage to Uen Furstenau at Crawford Valley Methodist Church rural Plainview, Ne. She helping on the farm, side by side with Uen. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading, following grandkids and great grandkids activities. Member of Willowdale Homemakers Club and Crawford Valley Methodist Church.
Survived by husband, Uen Furstenau of Neligh, NE. Children, Randy and wife, Karen Furstenau of Strasburg, CO and Rhonda and husband, Dave Jedlicka of Schuylar, NE. Grandchildren 6 and 13 great grandchildren. Sister, Elaine (Clare) Jones of Puyallup, WA and Carol Rossow of Tilden, NE.
Preceded in death by her parents. Brother, Vernon and sister, LaVon. Sister-in-law, June Huwaldt, Nadine Furstenau, Gladys Furstenau, Dolly (Walter) Hansen. Brother-in-law, Dale Moon.
