Charlene Louise Lange

Memorial Service for Charlene Lange, age 83 of Clearwater, NE will be 11:00 am Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Clearwater, Ne with Pastor Daniel Feusse, officiating. Burial will be in Clearwater Cemetery. Charlene passed away March 15, 2016 at her home in Clearwater surrounded by her loved ones. Snider Memorial Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. Charlene Louise Lange was born on August 2, 1932 to Earl and Jennie (Nolze) Twiss at Clearwater, Nebraska. She attended school at Clearwater. On March 3, 1956 she was united in marriage to Walter Lange in Clearwater, NE. They lived in Creighton, Aurora, and Columbus, NE. January 1991, she retired from Moorman Mfg. Co. In 1998, they moved to Clearwater. Charlene enjoyed gardening, bingo, playing cards, gambling. She liked socializing with her friends. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. She is survived by her children: Cressel and (Franchelle) Mummert, of Kalispell, MT, Russel Mummert, of Clearwater, NE, and Conda James of Neligh, NE, step daughter: Elaine Vraspir of Neligh, NE. 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Sister, Melpha Hiser of Kearny, NE Preceded in death by her parents, husband Walt (2013); brothers: Earl, Cleo "Pete", Ernest "Ted", and Wallace. Sisters: Angeline Watson, Alice Kern, Mary "Mackie" Patras, Marene WIlliams, Olive Nikles, and Winifred Twiss. Step son, LeRoy.
