Funeral services for Cecilia (Cel)H. Mlnarik age 92 of Ewing, were at 10:30 am Friday, May 20, 2005 at St. John�s Catholic Church, of rural Clearwater with Rev. Bill Safranek officiating. Music was provided by the Grandchildren accompanied by Carol Thiele organist Burial was in St. Patrick�s Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ron Stearns, Steve Stearns, Greg Thramer, Tim Thramer, Pat Calvert, Ted Mlnarik, Bill Mlnarik, and T.J. Mlnarik. She passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2005, at Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh. Funeral arrangements were conducted by Snider Memorial Funeral Home of Clearwater. Cel was born December 19, 1912 at Ewing, Nebraska to John and Bertha ( Kracher) Bauer. She attended rural school and graduated from Ewing Public School in 1931. Cel married Joe Mlnarik on February 20, 1935 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Ewing, NE. He passed away January 25, 1980. They lived on a farm south of Ewing and Cel remained there in her own home until the time of her death. She was very active in her Church and while she was able, attended daily Mass. Cel enjoyed embroidering and making tea towels for all her family to keep and cherish. She was a great collector of bells with each one telling its own story of where it came from and who it was from. She loved her family and was most happy when they were gathered around. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by 3 daughters; Joan and the late Sam Stearns of Clearwater, Yvonne and her husband Cletus Thramer of Ewing, Clarie and her husband Vern Friese of Ralston, NE, 3 sons; John and his wife Barbara Mlnarik of Clearwater, Dick and his wife Mary Mlnarik of O�Neill, Tom and his wife Sue Mlnarik of Ewing, 30 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, 3 sisters; Bert Noffke of Ewing, Sister Claradine Bauer of Campbellsport, WI, Vi and her husband Bob Snider of Redding, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe, 2 brothers; Sab, Johnny, 4 sisters; Agnes, Ann, Liz, and Matilda, son-in-law Sam Stearns, and 2 great grandchildren. Memorials may be directed to either St. John�s Church or Antelope Memorial Hospital
