Bud Wright Ewing � Funeral Services for Bud Wright age 74 of Ewing were at 10:30 am, Monday, June 4, 2007 at St. Peter�s Catholic Church in Ewing with Father Bill Safranek, officiating. Burial was in the Parish Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Sanders Am. Legion Post #214 of Ewing. Music was provided by The Church Band. Pallbearers were Bob Snyder, Tom Arehart, Kevin Melena, Marvin Steskal, Eddie Rotherham, Terry Wood, Steve Gragert, and Pat O�Malley. Honorary Bearers were his many friends and colleagues. Visitation will be from 4- 8:00 pm with a 7:30 scripture service all to be held at St. Peter�s Catholic Church in Ewing. Snider Memorial Funeral Home of Clearwater is handling the arrangements. Bud passed away May 31, 2007 at Clarkson University Hospital in Omaha. Bud Wright was born March 23, 1933 rural Ewing, the son of George and Helen (Collins) Wright. He grew up in the Ewing area and he attended Ewing Public School. On May 22, 1953 he was inducted into the United States Army at Omaha, Nebraska. He served during the Korean War and received his discharge on April 30, 1955 at Fort Carson, Colorado. Bud returned home and was united in marriage to Geraldine Rotherham on October 12, 1957 at St. Peter�s Catholic Church in Ewing. The couple made there home west of Ewing on the family ranch for almost 50 years. Bud was also a cattle buyer for several packers for the past 40 years. Bud was a member of St. Peter�s Church of Ewing and Sander�s American Legion Post #214 of Ewing. He is survived by his wife Geraldine Wright of Ewing; 8 children, Rod Wright and his wife Melanie of North Platte, Jeff Wright and his wife Micki of Ewing, Lisa Rockford of Chambers, Shelia Wright of Clearwater, Angie and her husband Bryan Rohlfs of Sioux City, IA, Will Wright of Wellington, Ks, Doug Wright of Ewing, Matt Wright and his wife Michelle of Albion, and several grandchildren. 4 sisters, Barbara Snyder of Ewing, Gladys Steskal, of Ewing, Beulah �Boots� Arehart and her husband Ken of Orchard, Shirley Malena and her husband Larry of Battle Creek. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister Juanita Sands and 3 brothers Earl, Roy, and Ernie. Condolences may be sent to www.snidermemorial.com
