Funeral Services for Bonnie Kallhoff, age 77 of Ewing, Nebraska will be at 11:00 am Thursday, April 30, 2015 at St. Peter's Catholic Church of Ewing, with Father Joe Miksch and Father James Kramper, Officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 7:30 pm Wednesday, April 29, 2015 with a 7:30 pm Rosary at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater. Bonnie went to Heaven Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Brookestone Acres in Columbus, NE. Arrangements are being conducted by Snider Memorial Funeral Home of Clearwater. In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Ewing Fire and Rescue Department. Bonnell Ruth Jones was born Southwest of Ewing, just a half mile from where she spent her entire married life, on May 17, 1937 to Harold "Cotton" and Luellen (Schober) Jones. By the age of five her family moved to a farm Northeast of Clearwater. She graduated 1954 from Clearwater High School and began her lifelong career in banking. On October 8, 1957, Bonnie married Richard (Dick) Kallhoff at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Clearwater. They are the parents of four daughters, Jody, Jan, Jill and Jerri. After retiring from Farmers State Bank in June of 1999. Bonnie and Dick spent their winters in Texas. She loved making new friends and participating in many of the park clubs and activities. Bonnie's favorite activity was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting afghans for all her girls and grandchildren. Beyond these activities, Bonnie also loved to read, play cards, garden, complete crosswords, and going to the casino with Dick. Bonnie is survived by husband, Dick, daughters Jody (Denis) Bergstrom of Ewing, Jan (Mike) McNichols of O'Neill, Jill (Earl) Hipke of O'Neill, and Jerri (Kyle) Beyea of Gothenburg. Grandchildren: Lindy (Seth) Stauffer, Dustin Bergstrom, Danae (Nate) Perry, Marcus McNichols, Morgan Butzman, Tony (Emma) Hipke, Tyler Hipke, Kaylee and Kylee Beyea. Great grandchildren Braxton and Tate Stauffer, and Harper and Hudson Perry. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Lewis and Donnie and her many aunts and uncles.
