Barbra Jean Sisson-Hill

Barbra Jean Sisson-Hill age 51 passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 8, 2022 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born on October 7, 1971, in Tilden, Nebraska to Gerald "Jerry" and Dianne (Shrader) Sisson. She graduated from Clearwater High School with the Class of 1990. She continued her education at the University of Phoenix where she received a Bachelor's of Science in Management in 2021. She was previously married to Shane Hill, from this marriage came her three children, Shaley, Katie, and Cord which meant the world to her.

Barbra was a dedicated and extremely hardworking individual. She started her career with Fresenius Kidney Care in Queen Creek, AZ as a dialysis technician, she then spent several years traveling throughout the United States with them until she accepted a position as Facility Administrator which landed her in Omaha, Nebraska, and she was proud to have been recently promoted to Area team Lead, spanning a career of 14 years within the company. Barb was a beacon of light and warmth in this world, and she truly lived with compassion and acceptance for everyone. She never knew a stranger, as her kindness and generosity were spread to anyone she met. Barb had a zest of life, she enjoyed traveling and loved the beach, great food, and a good conversation. She was a big fan of the Huskers and attended as many games as she could, She valued spending time with family and friends the most and was the person who always brought everyone together. She was deeply loved by so many, and she leaves a legacy behind as she had the ability to reach others in such a positive and meaningful way. Her passion to love and care for others was abundant. She was a cherished mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughters: Shaley and her husband Jessy Dirks and his son Keegan of Elgin, NE; Katie Hill and her husband Tyler Wilson of Leavenworth, KS. Her son: Cord Hill of Mesa, AZ. Her mother Dianne Sisson. Her sisters, Rhonda and husband Dan Schwager, Renee and husband Randy Knutzen. Her brothers: Bill Sisson, and Jerry Jo Sisson. Her sister-in-law Tresha Hill-Robinson. Her nieces: Tabitha, Toshia, Tonya, Emilee, and Tanner. Her nephews: Matthew, Zachary, Samuel, Ty, and Truitt. Grand dogs: Crew, Sophie, Cash, Bowie, Lucy, and Rosie. As well as servers great nieces and nephews and many other beloved family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, her father, Jerry Sisson, and her brother-in-law, Jason Robinson.
