Funeral services for Amanda Malina Gillespie age 23 of Lincoln, Ne were 10:30 am, Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at St. Peter's Catholic Church of Ewing, with Father James Kramper, Officiating. Music was provided by Nancy Harpster, Lisa Wright and Doug Wright. Burial was in St. Peter's Cemetery. Pallbearers were Brandon Ramos, Justin Ramos, Jake Kelley, Seth Barrett, Will Riley, and Troy Thramer. Honoarary Pallbearers are "Her MANY Friends". Visitation was from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday, April 15, 2014, with a 8 pm Rosary at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Ewing. Amanda passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Lincoln, NE. Arrangements are being conducted by Snider Memorial Funeral Home of Clearwater. Amanda Malina Gillespie was born on April 30, 1990 to Anthony and Shelly Gillespie at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Amanda enjoyed drama, dance, speech, volleyball and spending time with her friends. She graduated with the class of 2008 from Ewing High School and graduated from the College of Hair Design in Lincoln, NE. She was working at Silver Hawk Aviation as a receptionist. Amanda liked music, writing poetry, and drawing. She loved watching movies and spending time with family, especially Caiden. She is survived by parents: Vicki and Craig Bollwitt of Ewing, Shelly Gillespie of Ewing, NE and Anthony Gillespie of Rifle, CO. Brother: Christopher Ward and Evie Jones of Neligh, NE. Nephew: Caiden. Sisters: Toni Gillespie and Clay Nielsen of Stromsburg, NE and Jessica Morgan of Seattle, WA. Boyfriend: Josh Walker of Lincoln, NE. Grandmothers: Sharon Ward of Ewing, NE and Doris Ann Bollwitt of Ewing, NE.
